Comment For Steve Jobs Cinegratis

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
It entertains and enlightens, and it's bang on in showing how great ideas are born not through compromise but through vision and determination.

Name : Kyle Smith / Alias : New York Post
It's a cliche to say that Apple changed the world, but how and why did that happen? "Steve Jobs" is robust and entertaining, but the answer it provides is incomplete.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
Can you be a nice guy, and a great man? Steve Jobs is the case in point, and "Steve Jobs" says no.

Name : Christy Lemire / Alias : RogerEbert.com
The energy is relentless and the actors all more than meet the challenge of not only keeping up with Sorkin's trademark, rat-a-tat patter but also making it sing.

Name : Alonso Duralde / Alias : TheWrap
Feels like a series of beautifully and meticulously crafted tiles in a half-finished mosaic; you can admire the pieces but still come away feeling like you've been deprived of the whole.

Name : Ann Hornaday / Alias : Washington Post
With such a tetchy, self-absorbed control freak at its center, it's difficult to explain just why "Steve Jobs" is as entertaining, even pleasurable, as it is.

Name : Bruce Kirkland / Alias : Toronto Sun
Steve Jobs the man was complicated - and often infuriating to family, friends and colleagues at Apple Inc., the computer company he co-founded. Steve Jobs the film is also complicated - and consistently thrilling.

Name : Alex Pappademas / Alias : Grantland
Fassbender looks enough like Jobs that it's not distracting, and he finds a voice for the character.

Name : Michael Phillips / Alias : Chicago Tribune
The movie, a formidable technical and design achievement, has everything going for it except a sense of Jobs' inner life.

Name : Sasha Stone / Alias : TheWrap
It's a high wire act that might leave some feeling left behind. Somehow, though, Boyle pulls it off not by backing off the speechifying but by leaning into it and allowing it to sing.

Name : Barry Hertz / Alias : Globe and Mail
Thanks to Fassbender's revelatory performance, Jobs comes across as a captivating monster, a dictator in a black turtleneck who is impossible to ignore.

Name : Rex Reed / Alias : New York Observer
Steve Jobs and all of the characters around him fail to come to life in any absorbing fashion. They're not real people; they're all hashtags.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
Michael Fassbender will be in every best actor conversation from now until Oscar night (and deservedly so) for his mesmerizing turn as the legendary and legendarily difficult visionary Jobs.

Name : Soren Anderson / Alias : Seattle Times
What raises Steve Jobs way above the level of most biopics is the totality of Fassbender's immersion into the character.

Name : Nick Schager / Alias : Village Voice
This is a swift and searing attempt to pull back the curtain on Jobs and, in the process, investigate the relationship between the myth and the man.

Name : Chris Nashawaty / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
As sharp and slick as Steve Jobs is, it ends up feeling more interested in entertainment than enlightenment.

Name : Steven Rea / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
The acting is unarguably, uniformly strong.

Name : Kenneth Turan / Alias : Los Angeles Times
A smart, hugely entertaining film that all but bristles with crackling creative energy.

Name : Jake Coyle / Alias : Associated Press
The Full Sorkin Treatment has electrified a well-trod subject. But it also smothers it in artifice.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
It's just a static shot, the same angle, one guy talking. But what a guy.

Name : Ty Burr / Alias : Boston Globe
It rings emotionally and dramatically false, too at variance with the actual outsized talents and flaws of this man as they've been obsessively catalogued elsewhere.

Name : Brian Truitt / Alias : USA Today
Steve Jobs is a fascinating study of a man, explaining who he was but never making a judgment about who he is. The movie lets audiences compute that for themselves.

Name : A.O. Scott / Alias : New York Times
It is a formally audacious, intellectually energized entertainment, a powerful challenge to the lazy conventions of Hollywood storytelling and a feast for connoisseurs of contemporary screen acting.

Name : Anthony Lane / Alias : New Yorker
What Sorkin and Boyle have to offer is not a warts-and-all portrait but the suggestion that there is something heroic about a wart.

Name : Cary Darling / Alias : Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com
Still, Steve Jobs doesn't dig much beyond the surface of the man in the title. Anyone who wants a fuller story, free from the heavy hand of Sorkin, should seek out Alex Gibney's documentary from earlier this year, Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine.

Name : Dana Stevens / Alias : Slate
It's all too neatly staged to make for dynamic cinema, even if the dialogue does crackle with a delicious nastiness.

Name : Roger Ebert / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
It's a tribute to the singular popularity of Steve Jobs that he's probably the only talking head people would pay to watch for more than an hour.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
The acting is superb, no easy feat when trying to recite Sorkin's words while walking down seemingly endless hallways. Fassbender doesn't look a thing like Jobs and it doesn't matter a bit.

Name : Christopher Orr / Alias : The Atlantic
A redemptive fable at once artful, elegant, and clean. But by stripping out any and all complications, the movie denies itself the opportunity for nuance and puts a ceiling on its own ambition.

Name : David Ehrlich / Alias : Time Out
Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who's written about America's Great Flawed Men with such fire and hyperarticulate pathos that he's threatened to become one himself, outdoes his work on The Social Network with an even sharper and more savage script.

Name : Tony Hicks / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
Is "Steve Jobs" the final say on Steve Jobs? That's hard to say. But like its subject, it should remain relevant for years to come.

Name : Calvin Wilson / Alias : St. Louis Post-Dispatch
As original and risk-taking as its subject, "Steve Jobs" will make you think differently about an American icon.

Name : Peter Rainer / Alias : Christian Science Monitor
As scathingly played by Fassbender, Jobs looks almost as sleek and perfected as one of his computers.

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
Like Jobs' own legendary "reality distortion field," his near-mystical ability to convince anyone of almost anything, the film lifts us past sheer realism to higher truth.

Name : Robert Koehler / Alias : Variety
Ultimately the docu shows Jobs, as always, ahead of his time.

Name : Justin Chang / Alias : Variety
An enthralling performance by Michael Fassbender fuels this brilliant, infuriating and richly unconventional take on the life of an American visionary.

Name : Todd McCarthy / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Racing in high gear from start to finish, Danny Boyle's electric direction temperamentally complements Sorkin's highly theatrical three-act study, which might one day be fascinating to experience in a staged setting.

Name : Bob Mondello / Alias : NPR
The film feels so electric while you're watching, it's hard to believe that after two hours, it doesn't even get to the iPod, let alone the iPhone.

Name : Lou Lumenick / Alias : New York Post
I came away with the feeling that the filmmakers were practically implying that his early death at 56 was some kind of karmic payback.

Name : J. R. Jones / Alias : Chicago Reader
As the title character, Michael Fassbender gets the SOB part down just fine, but there's little evidence of the personal magnetism that enabled Jobs to bend so many people to his will.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
The dialogue crackles with wit, anger, and passion. By matching Sorkin's words with Boyle's style and Fassbender's talent, Steve Jobs has hit the trifecta.

Name : Jacob Silverman / Alias : The New Republic
Capably shot, well acted (notwithstanding Kate Winslet's shape-shifting accent), its score propulsive, if a little too insistent, it's a finely crafted piece of work. But as a film, I found it nearly insufferable.

Name : Rafer Guzman / Alias : Newsday
A whirlwind tour through the computer age with a flawed human at its center.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
Written, directed and acted to perfection, and so fresh and startling in conception and execution that it leaves you awed. Fassbender rips through the role of the volcanic Jobs. Is he really that good? Hell, yeah.

Name : Michael O'Sullivan / Alias : Washington Post
The most fascinating aspect of listening to him talk comes not from what he says about what he did, but how he talks about it.

Name : Joe Morgenstern / Alias : Wall Street Journal
In many ways the film reflects its hero's brilliance. It's a scintillating construction, though one that sometimes feels like a product launch in its own right.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
Boyle films the proceedings on a slightly grainy stock that gives the movie just the hint of a documentary. There's propulsion and energy. He takes Sorkin's script and pumps it with amphetamines.

Name : Isaac Guzman / Alias : TIME Magazine
What's most difficult about Sorkin's intricate fantasy is not acknowledging Jobs' darkness, but setting aside all hope of seeing the real man who inspired it.

Name : Andrew O'Hehir / Alias : Salon.com
This is simultaneously Sorkin's most satisfying movie script and Boyle's most graceful work as a director.

Name : Rene Rodriguez / Alias : Miami Herald
Sorkin's relentless chatter starts to weigh on you: Steve Jobs feels artificial and conceptualized when it should be building to a crescendo.

Name : Jesse Hassenger / Alias : AV Club
The tension between Boyle's restless energy and Sorkin's tendency to run in place drives the movie.

Comment For Triple 9 Ver Cine Completa Online

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : New York Daily News
It's got everything except a real script. Or director.

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
John Hillcoat packs a binge watch of characters and incidents into this corrupt-cop thriller.

Name : Mark Jenkins / Alias : NPR
Cops prowl darkened mazes, looking for perps they probably couldn't see even if they found them.

Name : Soren Anderson / Alias : Seattle Times
[Hillcoat is] an expert in creating and sustaining gut-twisting tension. Good qualities all, but used here in the service of a story that is truly unappetizing.

Name : Ann Hornaday / Alias : Washington Post
"Triple 9" feels more like a collection of good scenes than a novel, propulsive whole. Viewers are apt to be entertained by the film's visceral pulp pleasures, but left apathetic when it comes to its instantly forgettable genre cliches.

Name : Brad Wheeler / Alias : Globe and Mail
Though compelling in the acting and cinematography, Triple 9's plot is by the numbers and about nothing.

Name : Tom Huddleston / Alias : Time Out
Tight, taut and brilliantly structured.

Name : Joe Morgenstern / Alias : Wall Street Journal
"Triple 9" is as heartless as the people who infest it-the exception being a decent cop, Chris Allen, played by Casey Affleck-and mannered to the point of self-parody.

Name : Lindsey Bahr / Alias : Associated Press
Triple 9 imagines itself a sprawling, nihilistic epic, and it floats along for a while on the shoulders of its prestige filmmaking and cast, but ultimately the storytelling just isn't up to the task.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
Hillcoat's approach is to craft a pulse-pounding experience that employs a mixture of conventional footage and hand-held work. There's an immediacy to the most gripping scenes.

Name : Alonso Duralde / Alias : TheWrap
If there's a police code it merits, it's a "10-22": "Disregard."

Name : Ty Burr / Alias : Boston Globe
Hillcoat brings stray moments of style and surprise to "Triple 9" but not nearly enough to save it; for every twist you don't see coming, there are five you probably will.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
Triple 9 is no Reservoir Dogs, but it is a twisty, terrific ride. And Kate Winslet has a blast with the Russian accent, the wig, the attitude.

Name : Tony Hicks / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
There are a lot of great actors here and surprisingly good action scenes and a tense ending, all of which make "Triple 9" one of the more enjoyable urban crime dramas in recent memory.

Name : David Edelstein / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
Given the movie's bloody stew of greed and sadism, its unbalanced frames and ear-scraping soundscape, its moral tidiness can bring a smile to your otherwise appalled face.

Name : Manohla Dargis / Alias : New York Times
One of those productions in which much of the creative energy has been funneled into gaudily inventive displays of violence.

Name : J. R. Jones / Alias : Chicago Reader
Matt Cook's maiden feature-length screenplay-something about dirty Atlanta cops being blackmailed by the Russian Jewish mafia-is so murky it leaves the whole cast looking tentative, if not defensive.

Name : Calvin Wilson / Alias : St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Although "Triple 9" was most likely just a paycheck film for all involved, its go-for-the-gut efficiency can't be denied.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
"Triple 9" doesn't exactly transcend its genre, but it definitely exploits it for all it's worth.

Name : Matthew Lickona / Alias : San Diego Reader
The uneven thing [here] is John Hillcoat's direction: a tense, sustained journey through an apartment while lined up behind a bulletproof shield alternating with indulgent zooms and cuts depicting local color.

Name : Amy Nicholson / Alias : MTV
#AllLivesMatter? Not here. Hillcoat wants us to admit the truth behind the robbers' callous calculation: Some people are worth more than others.

Name : Barbara VanDenburgh / Alias : Arizona Republic
The action is bracing, the twists sprightly, but the sum of its parts sits heavy, like a meal that won't digest.

Name : Rafer Guzman / Alias : Newsday
A miserable, misguided police drama that almost seems to hate the police.

Name : Todd McCarthy / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Without much investment, one just sits back with increasing detachment and bemused curiosity as to where and on whom the next shoe will drop.

Name : Steven Rea / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
Most parties concerned maintain their grim countenances, their characters struggling to find the sweet spot between honor and greed, between doing the right thing and doing the absolute worst.

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
"Triple 9" is a superbly crafted film, the sort of big-screen roller coaster I admire even if its plot falters.

Name : Chris Nashawaty / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
The most impressive thing about Triple 9 is that it somehow manages to be both predictable and incoherent at the same time. Well, that and the fact that it manages to make half a dozen good actors look really lost.

Name : Lou Lumenick / Alias : New York Post
There's a blue-chip cast running the gamut from A (Casey Affleck) to W (Kate Winslet) and terrific action sequences in Triple 9 - but in the end, this relentlessly nihilistic crime-caper thriller adds up to less than the sum of its impressive parts.

Name : Cary Darling / Alias : Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com
The slam-bang opening bank robbery and chase channels the best of Michael Mann from his Heat days. But Triple 9 soon bleeds out and becomes a perfunctory hodgepodge of other crime movies.

Name : Alan Scherstuhl / Alias : Village Voice
It's hard to tell how much time has passed between scenes, or just why, as the twists come, the characters would suddenly turn so dumb.

Name : Liz Braun / Alias : Toronto Sun
Triple 9 races past in a blur of crime and action scenes, with plenty of violence and the odd spot of gallows humour to keep things interesting.

Name : A.A. Dowd / Alias : AV Club
Triple 9 is like a David Ayer film on steroids, which is to say it's like Training Day if most of the characters were as morally compromised as Denzel Washington's.

Name : Justin Chang / Alias : Variety
A modern-day heist thriller of unusually grim, coiled intensity .

Name : Katie Walsh / Alias : Los Angeles Times
Hillcoat directs with a sense of immediacy and grimy realism, bringing the audience into the shootouts and bloodshed on the streets. Atlanta becomes another war zone for the men who have seen war, battling an enemy of a different race and culture.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
If you're in the right frame of mind for a lurid, blood-soaked B-movie with an A-list cast, Triple 9 is just the ticket.
